Horseradish Peroxidase Streptavidin (HRP Streptavidin) is produced by our own coupling procedure that preserves the high specific activity of the peroxidase. Using biotinylated primary or secondary intermediates and peroxidase-labeled streptavidin, antigens can be localized in histological sections, cytospin preparations, or smears.
Features:
Avidin and streptavidin reagents are powerful tools to detect or purify biotinylated proteins, nucleic acids, and other macromolecules
Horseradish Peroxidase Streptavidin is offered as a concentrate (1 mg/ml) or in a ready-to-use (R.T.U.), prediluted, stabilized solution in a dropper bottle
For horseradish peroxidase streptavidin (Sav-HRP) that is optimized for use in solid-phase assays such as ELISAs and blotting applications, see the following product:
Immunohistochemistry / Immunocytochemistry, In situ hybridization
Recommended Usage
Molar ratio active conjugate: 1.5.
Do not use sodium azide with this product since it is an inhibitor of horseradish peroxidase.
The recommended concentration range for use is 2-5 µg/ml.
