t-boc-N-amido-dPEG®23-amine, product number QBD-10093, is a monoprotected, homobifunctional, discrete PEG (dPEG®) crosslinker. The amine groups react with carboxylic acids, active esters (e.g., NHS, TFP, PFP) of carboxylic acids, aldehydes, and ketones. The tert-butyl carbamate (t-boc) protecting group is removed quickly and easily under mild conditions. The dPEG® linker provides flexibility and water solubility to conjugate molecules. Examples of uses for this product include graphene quantum dot engineering, antibody and enzyme immobilization, development of biomolecular sensors, and construction of supramolecular assemblies.

Storage and handling | -20°C; Always let come to room temperature before opening; be careful to limit exposure to moisture and restore under an inert atmosphere; stock solutions can be prepared with dry solvent and kept for several days (freeze when not in use). dPEG® pegylation compounds are generally hygroscopic and should be treated as such. This will be less noticeable with liquids, but the solids will become tacky and difficult to manipulate, if care is not taken to minimize air exposure. |
