Biotin Alkyne (CCT-1266)

[text-backorder]

Biotin Alkyne (PEG4 carboxamide-Propargyl Biotin) is non-cleavable, alkyne-activated biotinylation reagent that can be reacted with azides via a copper-catalyzed click reaction to produce a stable triazole linkage. Biotin Alkyne is structurally identical to Biotin Alkyne (PEG4 carboxamide-Propargyl Biotin), catalog number: B10185, sold by ThermoFisher Scientific, and can be used as less expensive replacement.

Description

Biotin Alkyne (PEG4 carboxamide-Propargyl Biotin) is non-cleavable, alkyne-activated biotinylation reagent that can be reacted with azides via a copper-catalyzed click reaction to produce a stable triazole linkage. Biotin Alkyne allows for selective labeling of various azide-containing molecules (such as DNA, oligonucleotides, and proteins) with biotin for the subsequent detection or affinity purification with streptavidin, avidin or NeutrAvidin® biotin-binding protein.

Biotin Alkyne is structurally identical to Biotin Alkyne (PEG4 carboxamide-Propargyl Biotin), catalog number: B10185.
