Cy5.5 Dyes
VectorLabs’ Cy5 Dye is a far-red dye that can be used in a wide range of applications. Cy5 has a high molar extinction coefficient and quantum yield making it a sensitive and stable option in fluorescence-based workflows. Vector Laboratories Cy5 dye has excellent photostability and is offered with many reactive groups facilitating conjugation to a wide range of target biomolecules including antibodies, antibody fragments, peptides, oligonucleotides and other small molecules. Biological samples often exhibit less autofluorescence in the far-red region of the spectrum, so Cy5 is an excellent choice when trying to overcome this type of background.
