Description

VectaMount AQ Mounting Medium (H-5501) is a hardsetting mounting medium developed for use with enzymatic substrates, such as AEC, ImmPACT® AEC, and ImmPACT AMEC Red, whose reaction products are soluble in alcohol or other organic solvents. In applications where aqueous mounting is preferred, VectaMount AQ is suitable for use with other substrates such as DAB, Vector® SG, BCIP/NBT, Vector Red, ImmPACT Vector Red, Vector Blue, ImmPACT DAB, ImmPACT DAB EqV, and ImmPACT SG.

Recommended Usage VectaMount™ AQ Mounting Medium is a hard-setting aqueous-based mounting medium developed for use with enzymatic substrates such as AEC and ImmPACT™ AEC, whose reaction products are soluble in alcohol or other organic solvents. VectaMount AQ is also compatible with most peroxidase and alkaline phosphatase enzyme substrates, such as DAB, ImmPACT™ DAB, Vector® SG, ImmPACT™ SG, Vector® Red, Vector® Blue and BCIP/NBT.

VectaMount AQ is simple to use, requires no mixing, and preserves the color and clarity of the substrates. Stained sections mounted with VectaMount AQ can be stored in a slide box at room temperature for at least 2 years without fading.
