4-formyl-benzamido-dPEG®12-TFP ester, product number QBD-10081, is useful for introducing an aryl aldehyde into a peptide, protein, or other biomolecules. The 2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl (TFP) ester end reacts with free amines, while the flexible, non-immunogenic, discrete PEG (dPEG®) spacer adds water solubility to the conjugate. Reacting the aldehyde moiety with a hydrazide or aminooxy reactive group forms hydrazone or oxime bonds, respectively.
