Cy5.5 from VectorLabs is a near-infrared dye that offers benefits in applications where low background and deep tissue penetration are critical. The near-infrared region is characterized by very low autofluorescence from biological tissues resulting in a much higher signal-to-noise ratio. The longer wavelength of Cy5.5 also allows for better tissue penetration making it ideal for in vivo applications providing researchers with the ability to achieve high-contrast, detailed imaging. Our Cy5.5 Dye has excellent photostability and is offered with many reactive groups facilitating conjugation to a wide range of target biomolecules including antibodies, antibody fragments, peptides, oligonucleotides and other small molecules.
