This is the hippocampus of a mouse brain, stained with antibodies to highlight neurons (blue), glia (green) and their nuclei (pink). The image of one hippocampi was collected and a mirror image generated, to make the happy smile. Mounted in VECTASHIELD with DAPI. ”
