Quantitative and Reproducible Bioconjugation with SoluLINK® Technology

The conjugation and immobilization of biomolecules has been historically problematic, primarily due to the fact that few covalent bond-forming reactions occurring in water can also be engineered to link biomolecules together in a mild and controllable way. Although several methods to conjugate and immobilize biomolecules have been described in various publications, most of these methods are difficult to reproduce, stoichiometrically inefficient, and result in low conjugate yields.

Established in 2000, SoluLINK bioconjugation technology has been engineered to quickly, easily, and quantifiably link proteins, nucleic acids and other macromolecules to enzymes, fluorophores, haptens and other biomolecules. Once formed, these conjugates can be used in a multitude of applications such as flow cytometry, cell and tissue-based staining, blotting, ELISAs, diagnostic assays, and emerging technologies like targeted drug delivery.
