AAV redosing in a triceps muscle from a mouse model of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. An mdx mouse was treated with immune suppression to allow for AAV redosing where first AAV carrying GFP was injected and then one month later AAV carrying mCherry was redosed. The muscle is stained with laminin (gray) to mark muscle fibers and imaged for GFP (green) and mCherry (red) expression. Nuclei are stained with DAPI (blue). Both GFP and mCherry expression are seen demonstrating effective AAV redosing.
