Mouse Ig Blocking Reagent

Mouse Ig Blocking Reagent

Reduce background staining from endogenous mouse immunoglobulins

Background staining often occurs when the primary antibody used is of the same species as the tissue being stained. This is because the secondary antibody cannot distinguish between the enodgenous immunoglobulins and the primary antibody.

For mouse primary antibody on mouse tissue applications, the Vector® Mouse on Mouse (M.O.M.™) kits are especially designed to localize mouse primary antibodies on mouse tissue while avoiding background staining. Use the M.O.M.™ Mouse Ig Blocking Reagent to block endogenous mouse immunoglobulins in the tissue and then detect the mouse primary antibody with a M.O.M.™ kit detection system for best results.
