New Fluorescent Red Substrate Provides Increased Sensitivity for Tissue Research

BURLINGAME, Calif.
June 15, 2016

Vector Laboratories, a leader in the development and manufacture of labeling and detection reagents for biomedical research, introduces ImmPACT™ Vector® Red AP Substrate Kit, delivering a crisp red reaction product for studies involving immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, in situ hybridization and blots. The most sensitive red alkaline phosphatase (AP) kit available today, this heat-stable substrate delivers improved contrast for visualization via light or fluorescent microscopy. Its fluorescence is stable and does not photobleach like most fluorescent dyes.

This new product is a continuation of our research and development work on effective substrates,” said Harjit Kullar, vice president of marketing for Maravai LifeSciences. “We strive to continually improve the sensitivity and workflows for researchers around the world.”

The new ImmPACT Vector Red AP Substrate Kit is ideal for use as a single label or in multiple-substrate tissue labeling. It can be used manually or in automated staining methods. Each kit includes buffer and 120 ml of solution – enough for about 1,000 tissue sections.
