Description

Our high affinity polyclonal anti-biotin antibody is produced by hyperimmunizing goats with biotin and is purified by affinity chromatography.  

Alkaline phosphatase conjugated anti-biotin antibodies are produced with the highest specific acitivity enzymes in optimal enzyme/antibody ratios.  The covalent linkage between the enzyme and antibody is chosen to provide stable, highly active conjugates for immunohistochemical, in situ hybridization, enzyme immunoassay, or transfer blot applications.

Recommended Usage Recommended diluent for microtitration plate assays and for immunohistochemical staining: 10 mM sodium phosphate, 0.15 M NaCl, pH 7.5, 0.1% Tween 20, 0.1% immunohistochemical grade bovine serum albumin (Cat. No. 5050).Working concentration of Alkaline Phosphatase Anti-Biotin is 1:500 to 1:1000.We do not recommend storing diluted solutions of this product. This product has been optimized based on titre, not on protein concentration.For reference, this product contains approximately 1 mg protein prior to the addition of albumin.
