This image is of a cleared intact murine spine, it shows functional vasculature (Red: Lectin-DyLight™ 647) within the spinal cord as well as surrounding musculoskeletal tissues (Gray: SHG) such as the intervertebral disc, vertebral body, and posterior spinous process amongst a sea of cell nuclei (Blue: DAPI). Understanding how these structures change with disease is important in devising improved treatment strategies for chronic conditions such as low back pain.
Products used: Lycopersicon Esculentum (Tomato) Lectin (LEL, TL), DyLight™ 649 (DL-1178)
