Accounts Payables/Receivable Specialist

Vector Laboratories is seeking an Accounts Payables/Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team.


Responsibilities include:

  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including inputting, verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable/receivable data
  • schedule AP payments and obtain required invoice approvals
  • Prepare invoices, credits and bank deposits
  • Research vendor or customer payment posting discrepancies & resolve issues
  • Contact vendors/customers to facilitate payments or receipts
  • Reconcile the subledgers to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Generate data and reports detailing accounts payable/receivable status
  • Process accounts and payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Other responsibilities assigned by Division Controller



  • Proven working experience as accounts payable/receivable specialist or accountant
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection
  • Data entry skills and proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting/financial records
  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets/MS Office and accounting software (NetSuite highly preferred)
  • Proficiency in communication and customer service orientation
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Department:  Shipping

Reports to:  Shipping Manager

General Position Summary

The Shipping/ Receiving Clerk is responsible for daily shipping operations, for receiving packages on a daily basis, and being part of the Shipping Department team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Works closely with the Shipping Manager to ensure daily proper shipping operations.
  • Works daily with the Shipping Manager on International orders to make sure they are shipped, to ensure quality, and completion of requirements for shipping.
  • Responsible for cutting and tearing bubble wrap for daily protection for transit in shipping.
  • Responsible for making boxes essential for filling and shipping orders on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for shipping daily domestic orders using our NetSuite program.
  • Responsible for shipping daily packages with Federal Express or UPS on collect accounts entering information into the systems.

Position Summary

The Web Development / Digital Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of infrastructure development projects to support product commercialization (including web refresh / update projects and CRM / marketing automation platform implementation/maintenance) and managing the execution of marketing projects including web content enhancements (SEO) and tactics to support marketing campaigns (e-mail, SEM, social media and video). Top candidates will possess experience executing successful marketing projects and be a collaborative team player, who can reliably demonstrate a high-level of creativity and grace under deadline pressure. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operate as point person and lead multiple concurrent website build projects, managing communication, requirements, user experience, scope, and timelines.
  • Support annual promotional planning and holistic program/calendar management.
  • Take ownership of digital marketing projects and work with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of copy, creative and content is being executed in a timely fashion.
  • Manage pre- and post-implementation of CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation platform (Pardot) and ensure the development roadmap is supporting business objectives and driving business growth.
  • Manage the interaction between vendors and internal program delivery leaders to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programs.
  • Support execution of key marketing offerings: campaign components, adwords, social media advertising, email marketing, and Google Analytics
  • Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet expectations.
  • Conduct regular status meetings to review project activities; manage prioritization and resources.
  • Create campaign summaries and ROI reports.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvements.
  • Manage Key Performance Metrics; tagging, tracking and reporting methodology across all mediums.



  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master Degree preferred.
  • PMP or similar certification (ideal but not required).
  • 3+ years experience preferred in a project management role, working with multi-department/multi-functional teams.
  • Web development and maintenance experience.
  • CRM / marketing automation platform implementation and maintenance experience (Salesforce / Pardot preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Microsoft SharePoint, Google Analytics, Web (Magento, WordPress, CSS, HTML) and Project Management Tools (Asana, Basecamp, JIRA, Trello).

Scientist, IHC Product Development

Job Description 


The Product Development Scientist is responsible for carrying out reagent product development following design control guidelines. The Scientist’s primary function is to design and execute experimental protocols; collect and interpret data; draft reports; and present results to Senior Management. S/he will participate as an integral member of cross-functional design teams interacting with individuals from other departments. Immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence reagents are the core Vector’s portfolio, as such, an excellent understanding of tissue-based immunoassays is a must. S/he will draft formal documents as required and follow company documentation procedures. The Scientist will function as a Vector representative when communicating with outside organizations and customers. S/he is expected to propose, evaluate and develop plans for new product ideas. The position mandates an individual have sound judgment, be self-motivated and capable of working independently and under pressure to meet company goals. The Scientist will be able to train/guide junior staff and possess the social skills necessary to work well with colleagues and collaborators.


  • Independently design and perform targeted experiments

Job Description


Position Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing accounting tasks for Vector Laboratories located in Burlingame, CA, a business unit of Maravai Life Sciences. This position is also responsible for performing accounting tasks for other Maravai Business Units. This position reports to the Division Controller.

  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Perform month‐end inventory audit and reconciliation
  • Perform gross margin analysis, standard cost review and analysis, BOMs/ECOs review and cost allocation
