New!
VECTASHIELD®
HardSet Mounting Medium
VECTASHIELD®
HardSet Mounting Medium provides
the same outstanding fluorescence preservation
and anti-fade properties as the original
VECTASHIELD® Mounting
Medium, but it also hardens. No coverslip
sealing required! Also available with
DAPI.
ProtOn
Protein Labeling Kits
The
ProtOn
Protein Labeling Kits are designed for
simple and fast labeling of proteins
with biotin or fluorsescein.
Streptavidin/Biotin
Blocking Kit
This
kit is designed for use with streptavidin
conjugates, to block non-specific binding
to tissue elements. Streptavidin and
biotin are supplied in convenient dropper
bottles.
Sugars for
Lectin Inhibition and Elution
Eight
different sugars are supplied in dry,
preweighed form ready for reconstitution
to produce 5 ml or 100 mM or 400 mM
solutions. Designed for use as inhibitors
of lectin binding to confirm specificity
in tissue or cell staining or to elute
glycoconjugates from agarose-bound lectins.
5x
In Situ Hybridization Blocking Solution
A
blocking reagent for fluorescent and
enzymatic detection systems for In Situ
Hybridization and Fluorescent In Situ
Hybrdization.
3'
EndTag
Nucleic Acid Labeling System
The
3' EndTag Labeling System enables
simple and uniform labeling of DNA 3'
ends. A choice of diverse labels (fluorochromes,
haptens, affinity ligands) gives this
system outstanding versatility. 3' end
labeling is preferred over 5' end labeling
if the terminal 5' end needs to be preserved.
3' EndTag-labeled nucleic acids can
be used for applications such as DNA
hybridization, PCR, in situ hybridization
or electrophoretic mobility shift assays.
5'
EndTag
Nucleic Acid Labeling System
The
5' EndTag Labeling System facilitates
the covalent attachment of a variety
of fluorescent dyes, haptens, or affinity
tags to the 5' end of unmodified oligonucleotides
or 5'-OH modified DNA or RNA. 5' EndTag
is ideal for labeling PCR and sequencing
primers because a label is attached
only at the 5' end, leaving the 3' end
available for polymerization. The position
of the label does not interfere with
hybridization or nucleic acid binding
and is, therefore, appropriate for binding
of capture probes to affinity matrices
and for gel shift assays. Labeling requires
about 1 hour with very few minutes of
hands-on time.
Vector®
Fusion-Aid Kits
Vector®
Fusion-Aid Kits are designed to
isolate fusion proteins containing any
one of the following "tags":
green fluorescent protein, maltose binding
protein, c-Myc, or HA. Each kit contains
an affinity-purified antibody to the
specific "tag" coupled through
a stable hydrophilic spacer arm to crosslinked
4% agarose beads. Spin columns and collection
tubes are included for convenience.
Biotinylated
affinity-purified antibodies to fusion
protein tags
Biotinylated,
affinity-purified antibodies to fusion
protien tags (green fluorescent protein,
maltose binding protein, c-Myc, or HA)
are useful for localizing fusion proteins
on western blots. The biotin label allows
subsequent detection using avidin or
streptavidin-based methods (See our
VECTASTAIN ABC-AmP kits for western
blot detection).
